The name
"#Not4Pussy" – who on earth comes up with a name like that for a product line? We did. And "#Not4Pussy" isn't so much a name as it is a message: the products in this line pack a punch! If you can't handle them, that's okay – but then you're, well, a pussy.
The idea for the name and the entire product line came to us in 2016. It was the heyday of hardcore pre-workout supplements: every supplement company had at least one pre-workout with a menacing-sounding name in its lineup. And hardly any of these boosters were actually well-designed. We recognized a gap in the market.
So we developed a booster that not only gave you a energizing boost but also cleared your head, enabled good training performance, and provided a long-lasting pump. This booster wasn't for the faint of heart, and we wanted to make that clear with the name. But to be clear: Of course, female athletes were—and still are—part of our target group. Because whether you're a wimp or not has nothing to do with your gender.
The concept
The #Not4Pussy hardcore booster became a bestseller. So it was only natural to build an entire product line around it: Why shouldn't there also be a #Not4Pussy pump booster , a #Not4Pussy pre-workout booster , and a #Not4Pussy all-in-one booster alongside the hardcore booster?
In the following years, we therefore released several more training boosters. They all have the following in common:
- The list of ingredients is relatively long. (Boosters that are supposed to have a broad spectrum of effects must also have a "broad" formula.)
- They contain both tried-and-tested booster ingredients and innovative substances. As such, they reflect the latest scientific findings.
This reflects findings in the field of pre-workout supplementation. - They are free from unnecessary fillers and meet the highest quality standards. Various seals on the packaging (e.g., "NonGMO", "GMP+", "vegan", etc.) attest to the great care we take in selecting the ingredients.
The design
You have to admit: the design of the #Not4Pussy tins is a real eye-catcher. What do you think?
The mouse motif (yes, the fiery-eyed creature grinning at you from our cans is a stylized mouse) stemmed from our need to create a key visual that was eye-catching but not too off-putting.
While almost all booster manufacturers used frightening motifs in the 2010s – skulls, horror figures, or the Grim Reaper – we wanted to take a different approach. Our key visual was intended to be motivating – and to have a comic-book style.
And why did we choose a mouse? Because the Latin word for "mouse" is "musculus." In fact, that's where the word "muscle" comes from. The ancient Romans believed that well-defined muscles visually gave the impression that mice were scurrying under the skin. And they weren't entirely wrong, were they?
