TB 500

Ideal for healing injuries

For true sports enthusiasts, especially bodybuilders, there's hardly anything more frustrating than being sidelined from training for days or even weeks due to an injury. And yet, it happens all the time: a strain, a sprain, or a ligament tear can happen faster than you can say "No, please no!" The healing process after such a sports injury is often lengthy. But it doesn't have to be! Since the peptide TB 500 began its triumphant march across the sports world, soft tissue injuries have lost some of their terror. Read on to find out what this peptide can do and why you should buy TB 500!

What is TB 500?

TB 500 is the synthetic version of the protein thymosin beta 4 (also called "Tβ4"). The latter occurs naturally in the body. It plays an important role in the healing of tissue injuries, especially tendon and ligament injuries. The name "thymosin" stems from the fact that beta 4 was first discovered in the thymus gland. Later, however, it was found that the peptide is expressed by almost all cells—especially where tissue damage occurs. Thymosin beta 4 then has the task of forming new, healthy tissue [1].

The synthetic (i.e., “artificial”) form TB 500 was developed to further enhance the therapeutic effect of thymosin beta 4. It is often stated that TB 500 is structurally identical to thymosin beta 4, but this is incorrect. The amino acid chain that makes up the peptide TB 500 is much shorter than the protein-building amino acid chain of thymosin beta 4 [2].

Especially in bodybuilding, TB 500 is extremely popular due to its healing and regenerative properties; it is considered a veritable "miracle drug." Countless bodybuilders have already used it to accelerate healing after an injury or to reduce inflammation.

How does TB 500 work?

The effect of TB 500 is based on the stimulation of cell migration and proliferation, two processes that are crucial for tissue repair. Put more simply: TB 500 ensures that the repair protein actin is increasingly deposited at the site of injury. This accelerates healing, particularly in the case of connective tissue injuries such as skin, tendon, ligament, and cartilage damage. A key mechanism is the increased flexibility of the tissue – this also reduces the likelihood of unsightly scarring in superficial injuries or skin lesions.

TB 500 not only accelerates the healing of tendons, ligaments, and skin, but also promotes the formation of new blood vessels (thus supporting angiogenesis). Furthermore, it reduces inflammatory processes. This makes it the ideal supplement for all sports injuries.

What are the advantages of TB 500 for athletes?

Given the range of effects of TB 500, it is easy to understand why TB 500 is of great interest to bodybuilders, CrossFitters, powerlifters and actually to all other ambitious athletes (track and field athletes, runners, footballers, tennis players, etc.).

  1. Accelerated recovery after training : TB 500 promotes regeneration and shortens recovery time. Athletes who take TB 500 for recovery can schedule their next training session much sooner after their last workout, which ultimately leads to faster progress.
  2. Injury prevention : TB 500 not only supports healing processes but also strengthens tendons and ligaments. Therefore, TB 500 can effectively prevent injuries – or at least help reduce the risk of injury. This is an extremely important aspect, especially with high training volumes.
  3. Injury healing: The healing effects of TB 500 are legendary; existing sports injuries heal much faster with TB 500 than without the peptide. Injuries that normally take forever to heal completely (such as tendon tears or ruptures) are healed relatively quickly with TB 500. According to athletes' experiences with TB 500, it can also be beneficial to use it for cartilage regeneration, for example, in cases of persistent joint problems.

How is TB 500 used?

In scientific studies, peptides are administered by injection. The pharmaceutical industry typically supplies these preparations as freeze-dried powders, which must be mixed with sterile water to create an injection solution. They are then injected subcutaneously or intramuscularly. However, selling peptides as an injection solution (or as a powder for an injection solution) is obviously not an option for the sports nutrition supplement industry.

TB 500 Patches from BPS Pharma

The most effective application method after injection is via transdermal patches (skin patches) – see our product 4 Your Recovery Plus TB500 Patches (Thymosin Beta 4) . The patches are applied directly to the area of the body where the medication is needed. For inflammation, a single patch is applied to the inflamed area; for tendon or ligament injuries, it is applied where the injury is located under the skin.

TB 500 Capsules

In addition to capsules, it is also available in this form. However, with capsule products, it is questionable whether the effect actually reaches the desired area. According to user experiences with TB-500 in various internet forums, TB-500 capsules only work for complaints related to the digestive system, such as stomach ulcers.

TB 500 Dosage

In human trials with thymosin beta-4, participants were administered up to 0.25 micrograms per kilogram of body weight every 24 hours, which corresponds to a TB-500 dosage of 2 to 2.5 mg per day (depending on body weight). Our TB-500 skin patches contain a dosage of 2.5 mg of TB-500 (as thymosin beta-4) per patch. One patch should therefore be applied daily. The duration of use depends on the type of injury being treated: A ligament tear naturally requires longer treatment (at least 4 weeks) than, for example, tendon irritation. In cases of inflammation, a noticeable effect should be felt after 7 days.

What are the side effects of TB 500?

Virtually all substances used in sports to enhance performance (or improve recovery or faster healing) have side effects. TB 500 appears to be an exception – at least, no significant side effects have been documented so far. Athletes who have used TB 500 have only occasionally reported the following phenomena:

  • Fatigue along with a general feeling of lethargy, especially in the days following the first use
  • Headaches that occurred temporarily
  • Redness or swelling at the injection site (if TB 500 was injected)

There are no reports of more serious side effects from TB 500. However, this does not completely rule out the possibility that more severe side effects than those listed above may occur in individual cases.

Is TB 500 legal?

The question of whether TB-500 is legal cannot be answered with a simple "yes" or "no." The answer depends on the country in which it is asked and the purpose for which TB-500 is being bought or sold. In the USA, for example, TB-500 has not yet been approved by the FDA as either a drug or a dietary supplement. However, it has the status of a "research chemical," meaning it may be acquired for experimental purposes. (Use on humans is explicitly prohibited.)

In Germany, TB-500 falls under the Anti-Doping Act (AntiDopG) because it is classified by WADA as a Class S2 prohibited substance. Possession of TB-500 in a non-negligible quantity is therefore prohibited. And of course, athletes worldwide who test positive for TB-500 in a doping test face sanctions.

Where can I buy TB 500?

TB-500 supplements are available in various online shops, but almost exclusively in capsule form. Whether these supplements are truly helpful for musculoskeletal injuries is uncertain. TB-500 skin patches, on the other hand, are only available from BPS and in well-stocked shops like www.getboost3d.com . And since peptides are becoming increasingly popular, there are unfortunately now a large number of inferior TB-500 products on the market. Some of these contain no TB-500 at all, but merely high doses of vitamins or amino acids without any therapeutic effect. If you want to buy TB-500, it's best not to take any risks – buy it from us!
