IPAMORELIN: THE MOST EFFECTIVE GROWTH HORMONE BOOSTER PEPTIDE

Selectively acting GH secretagogue

Ipamorelin is a so-called growth hormone secretagogue – meaning it stimulates the body to release more growth hormone. Many other substances do this as well, such as the often-classified SARM MK-677 and the drug Anamorelin, but these sometimes have serious side effects (such as massive water retention).
Growth hormone-releasing peptides (GHRPs), on the other hand, appear to have no side effects [1]. And Ipamorelin has another significant advantage among the GHRPs: it is highly selective! Unlike all other GHRPs, it does not affect the levels of prolactin, FSH, LH, or cortisol; it exclusively stimulates the secretion of GH.

Ipamorelin was developed by the Danish pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk. As a ghrelin mimetic, Ipamorelin binds to ghrelin receptors in the pituitary gland. There, the peptide stimulates the release of an intermediate hormone, which in turn triggers the release of growth hormone. This results in numerous effects that make Ipamorelin a highly interesting performance-enhancing supplement.

Positive effects of Ipamorelin

1. Increased muscle mass: One of the most frequently documented effects of ipamorelin is its ability to stimulate muscle growth. For this reason, ipamorelin (like all GHRPs) is listed as a prohibited substance by WADA.
2. Improved blood supply: Since ipamorelin mimics the “hunger hormone” ghrelin, it causes the formation of new blood vessel networks, just like ghrelin [3]. This improves the body’s oxygen uptake and thus its performance.
3. Optimization of cartilage and joint regeneration: Research results suggest that ipamorelin, like ghrelin, promotes collagen synthesis and thus stimulates the regrowth of cartilage and connective tissue structures [4].

ADVANTAGES OF IPAMORELIN DROPS AT A GLANCE

The oral drops Ipamorelin can be administered directly into the mouth. This allows the peptide to be absorbed immediately into the bloodstream via the oral mucosa (mucosal absorption). It then very quickly exerts its growth hormone-releasing effect.
